Well the Olympics are over, great 2 weeks of sports...especially ice hockey even though the US did not win gold. From an objective point of view, great for our neighbors up north to see both the women and men's ice hockey teams win the gold medal on their home turf. 3-2-1 ok objectivity over! Here's a sour grapes Olympic joke...the men's ice hockey team is so clueless, they took their gold medals to get bronzed. Thus we have the title of this post.

The past couple of weeks have been filled with attempting to bring Chrissannthemum into the online shopping age. Feel like I need a college degree in PayPal at this point but slowly things are starting to gel and more items at the shop are now available for purchase on this here website, as requested by so many who have stopped on by - so thanks to you for your feedback!  In the next week I hope to have all our fabulous items available for purchase online and shipping details figured out. This should be the to-do list crossed off item that will free up time to post more on the blog.  

Right now one of my cats is batting around a sachet of catnip I brought home from the store. If only it gave this human that kind of energy...interestingly enough catnip (an herb of the mint family - also called catmint) can have a sedative effect on humans. Depending on a person's needs I often include this herb in a sleep blend or anti-anxiety blend without concern of any side effects like batting around a ball of yarn. : )
