In 2006 I traveled to California and drove the coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles. I met Hammam, the 'sage and soap guy' on Venice Beach. Along with chatting about our love of White Sage and smudging I learned how to roll Sage smudge sticks/wands. Explaining the Sage to airport security was quite an experience and a few fellow passengers left the plane knowing how to smudge! ~C
